    Hello,
I'm facing a big problem at university, they are using a proxy (local) and because of that i can't use origin or steam..
Is there any software who can make them work with that useless local proxy ?

Since your university has an intranet ie all the traffic goes through the uni, there's not much you can do since it's blocked from the uni itself.

If your University is anything like mine, they monitor all Internet traffic on their secure network. A couple guys I know were stupid enough to pirate movies using the school's network (LAN) connected to their laptop. They got in trouble and had to take a class to avoid punishment, lol. Pretty sure when tons of bandwidth is being used up to illegally download movies, they'll notice, fellas.

As for browsing the web, there are plenty of proxies out there. You can find so many these days.

As far as I know, classic internet traffic is allowed BUT, special ports (like those for games and so on) arent open in most of the Wi Fi network (only the administration and some labs have regular internet access and proxy, means they can pick whatever "type of access" they want).

plus they can monitor each user, cause we are ALL using the same password, litteraly the same, like (student/student). They are too lasy to give every person a unique login/pass in the first semester :)

I think the only way to get though it is using a VPN..

That's pretty crazy that they assign all students the same authentication... Betcha your school's IT department staff got all their certs from ITT Tech and the like ;).

I was going to say that, if it was like my university's policy on game consoles, you could have asked them for directions on how to use the thing o their network. But I doubt there's any option other than VPN if your campus IT is that incompetent.
