What command will allow me to flash to this EEPROM?
I noticed that the --override (-o) option is only for the --save command.
Will --romstrap (-j) or --directpci (-n) allow me to flash it?

If this card had no EEPROM whatsoever, then it could not be detected correctly as the NVS 320m (in a laptop that does not have vbios in system bios), am I correct here?

Opinions are appreciated, however comments about safety are not welcome.

    Thanks. ;)

you need flash your bios by contacting your manufacturer of your motherboard they will give you tool to flash bios.
If you do anything wrong during flash your your bios will be corrupted and you can't operate your pc/laptop again

    Doit on your risk

Please read the thread before you reply! PLEASE do not make posts if you don't know what you are talking about!

This has absolutely nothing to do with motherboards!

What you might want to do is send an email to the people who made NVFLASH and ask if they can add support for your EEPROM (if you can find it).

If you are correct (and sounds like you should be), then the EEPROM must already be partially supported otherwise how could NVflash read the info from it. It wouldn't be a big step to then write to the EEPROM.

Yeah, thats a good idea. Thanks.
Still haven't tried a few things, I'll probably try the -J option.

I finally found a 256mb 32 core BIOS though. (I love how I get away with posting duplicate threads because so many steps are involved)

Its an acer 9600m gs. So another question now is:
Do Acer cards generally work on other laptops?
And is it dangerous to flash a nvdia 8 series core with 9 series BIOS?
The 8 series dont have 'extra', they just have 3d as the highest clock.

I had an acer 9500m GS working with my MSI notebook, so should be ok.

Ok. I'm going to try it a few more times now. I guess I'll just get rid of the "extra" clocks.
