For my xbox 360 I have it hooked up via VGA cable to my desktop monitor...I have a VGA switchbox and all that fun stuff, however, the desktop res is at like 1280x1024 or something....

I am trying to figure out is if I can hook up the 360 to my laptop that has 1920x1200 res. The laptop only has a VGA output and I was wandering if there is any possible way to covert that to a VGA input....?

I believe the only way to achieve what you are trying to do is to use a TV Tuner however, according to most users, that introduces unacceptable control lag, although there was this one tuner out there that was better than the rest...

If you want to use your laptops display to play your 360 on it your only option is a TV tuner.

That is not a PC TV Tuner. It is a TV Tuner for your PC Monitor, allowing you to connect multiple devices to your LCD monitor, but it will not allow you to view the output of the devices on your PC. You should be looking for a USB TV Tuner or Firewire TV Tuner, such as the one listed here: http://www.buy.com/prod/avermedia-a...6-r-avermedia-avertv/q/loc/101/204823274.html
However, there are probably better products out there at more attractive prices.

EDIT: It will probably be more productive if you started a new thread regarding TV Tuners in the Accessories board, or check out the threads regarding TV Tuners there.
