You can visit the link here, or here I cut and pasted it. It seems real, but will let the experts figure it out. I know its an advertisement, but it seems significant.

What do you expect? Download software illegally and this is the price you pay.

    Insecurity.

Its not even Win7, its the people who upload it to torrents, though I cant see why thats even necessary, you know, Win7 RC being free and all. Being able to pause the download isnt even an excuse since, when I got Win7, I need to use the download manager provided which gave me the option to pause my download.

If you insist in downloading it on a torrent, you should at least mount the iso and scan it with multiple tools.

TBH, it's kind of ironic. Probably the publisher or developer uploading the virus infected torrent to keep pirates at bay.

Indeed. I love those people when they hear "torrents", they immediately associate it with "illegal". I downloaded my Win7 Beta and RC off torrents because the Microsoft site was slow to load for me, no big deal.

But I agree, the people downloading from the torrents should be more careful and take extra steps to make sure the ISOs are not virus-infected.
