    I don't get it.

Is this supposed to be funny because a company paid for screen time in a movie, or because they are getting there money's worth out of the ad through someone who didn't pay for the movie?

    It's not always product placement.

Sony doesn't even have to pay. They own a movie studio, so they can just tell them to use all Sony laptops etc.

p.s. This should probably be in the Sony forum.

The same Vaio computer was used in RE: Apocalypse.

Guess Sony just shelled out some advertising bucks to have their name shown in a couple movies.

Anyone remember the 3rd Matrix movie, where they have a 15 minute car chase with them driving that caddy? Same idea.

Yeah, Sony VAIO notebook, Sony Ericsson cellphone, Sony Cybershot camera...I never knew Bond was such a Sony lover :D.

Oh, and of course, the reason behind this: Sony Pictures Presents: Casino Royale ;).

I think this is starting to turn off topic :D, but I don't know why everyone is saying Daniel Craig (the Bond for Casino Royale) is the best Bond.

For me (and just me maybe) Pierce Brosnam (or whatever is spelled) was far better =P and yes.. maybe this is turning offtopic.

P.S: Anybody can answer me? wich model of Vaio was on RE (the 2nd movie, were the father aschcroft watched the "party" through racoon city)?? or at least the screen size of that notebook? BTW forgive misspellings =P
