I did not post this in the "what notebook should I buy" because I am not looking for suggestions of vendors. I'm just curious as to who sells the high end GPUs other than AW and Clevo builders/resellers. On google, I couldn't find any that sold the 580m or the 6990m, much less the two in their respective dual GPU configs other than the ones I mentioned.

Thanks. I was looking for laptops. Like AW and Clevo (or its resellers) build the entire thing and put a high end GPU in there. Yeah they are old but the new gen of high end gaming products isn't completely out yet (as in the 680m) so I took an example from last year. So basically that's the reason I didn't find it on google? Coz there aren't any others? I'm surprised so many buy AW or Clevo products.

    GenTechPC is my favourite reseller.

    MALIBAL also has great reputation.

I suppose MSI can be added to that list? They give the option of high end cards or only the x70m series?

    Malibal is a Clevo builder.

So you're looking for gaming PC builders that ARE NOT Alienware or some kind of Clevo reseller? MSI and ASUS, and that's about it. And I'm not 100% sure either of them offer anything better than the 670.

That is interesting. Samsung seems intent on entering into a variety of markets and they are not doing a bad entry job either imo.

    Yep.

Disclaimer - Other than AW/Clevo, the next step is MSI/Asus. The best performance will be found in AW/Clevo, so perhaps taking a second look at the brands is worth-while.

He specifically said that he was asking about companies that aren't Clevo resellers.

Yeah I already know about AW and Clevo and their resellers/builders. I did not know about Samsung. ASUS does not offer the high end ones. They offer entry level and the next higher in the gaming segment. AFAIK, so does MSI.

As mentioned there's only the upcoming Samsung, for now. Other than them, all you can do is wait to see if MSI picks up the GTX 680M.

Since MSI features the 580M they will for shure have the 680M in their notebooks too

    Brands with top end GPUs:
    Alienware
    MSI
    Sager/Clevo
    Samsung

I highly recommend Gentech PC as reseller. XoticPC is also a great choice. I know more resellers is active in this forum, but Gentech and Xotic is the only two I have experience with
