The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Ventrilo Overlay D3D??

    Does anyone know of a good Ventrilo game D3D overlay that works with Vista? I was using this one ( http://www.voice-overlay.info.ms), but it hasn't been updated since 05. It worked with XP, but with Vista it causes the D3D game to crash.

    Tried to talk them into using Teamspeak, but they have a subscription with a Vent server. Some folks I know have dual boot XP just to get the overlay to work.

    Of all the mods out there, you'd think a Vent overlay would be common.
