I don't know what the programmers of these apps have done.

check out their sites for updates.

i hope they do work for vista because I have over 3000 ROMS.

Isn't Vista fully backwards compatible with all previous Windows versions, just like XP? So all programs that run on XP should run fine on Vista?

It's meant to be mostly backwards compatible, but there will of course be exceptions to the rule. It shouldn't be anything major though, and I'm sure Vista compatible updates will be released IF they are even required.

Awesome. I would hate to upgrade to vista and then have my roms not work enough to make me want to keep XP.

Kinda off topic but are there any emulators that have higher screen resolutions? I've been using project64 and it's tiny. Thanks.

Try configuring the Video Options in the emulator. I play PJ64 on a 20inch screen at 1280x1024 rez and it looks amazing.

Why shouldn't they work? The only place where you might run into problems if you run any 16-bit applications (Which means stuff from Dos or Win3.1)

Other than that, Vista is backwards compatible.

This is welcoming news to me.

    Nothing like good old games.

...what is better than FFVII?! Castlevania SOTN?!
