I have tired 5 different drivers and they keep on crashing on me when i'm play COD4. The screen would freeze then go black. If i check the taskbar, a icon appears and says that display drivers crashed and recovered. It would then recover but i'm unable to play after that because i get really low fps. Someone please help. Its not that my video card is overheating. It peaks at about 80 degrees. It was working fine before but now it keeps on crashing.

It is possible that it is overheating, but most likely the drivers you have have issues with your laptop. Try a known good version like 169.29, see if that helps

Which operating system do you use? If it's vista, there are known issues with certain drivers. You can research on www.nvidia.com and see what most people have had good luck with.

Does it happen in other games?
Did you check the clock speeds on your gpu after the crash?(downclocking?)
Did you use driversweeper to remove the old drivers before installing the new ones?
