I have an express port on my laptop. I've been told that you can buy video cards that just plug into the express port. Is this true?

If so, where can I buy an ATI one?

Almost all laptops have their GPUs fixed into the laptop, so you most probably you CANNOT upgrade your GPU.

Since you have a ATI card and Dell laptops do not use ATI GPUs I am positive you will not be able to upgrade your GPU.

Even if you could upgrade your GPU, it really is not recommended as many problems could arise when you put the chip in. It may not fit, and it may overheat due to the internal cooling system not being good enough for the faster gpu.

There are no video cards that go into the express slot of laptops, so this idea should be dissmissed.
