So I was wondering if someone could help me in listing which video cards can go in which laptops reliably.

    8600GT is in 15" laptops.
    8700, 8800, & 7950gtx in 17" only

What is the best video card you can put in a 14", 13", and 12"? I know I saw a 14" laptop with an 8600gt, but I think that would overheat and doesn't seem like it would be reliable.

Anyone have a benchmark list of all the different laptop video cards?

I'm trying to figure out how much to compromise. I think this would also help other new people trying to figure out what size to go with.

manufacturer is going to make sure that their card doesn't overheat in their system. they very well could resort to underclocking, in some cases that might not even be necessary.

8600m gt is a good card for 14", dont run from that idea.

Usally the smaller you go, the "weaker" the video card gets.
