    Hi there

I have an acer 9302 with an nvidia geforce go 6100 gpu.

When I update the drivers to 158.28 and go to play games such as MoH or CoD which are in 1024x768 resolution the games don't fit the screen.

They are on the screen properly but they dont stretch to the widescreen format of my 1440x900 monitor, I get black bars either side. But they do fit the screen properly when I've got the current driver installed (158.18)

This happens with any game that I've got set to a non-widescreen resolution, and this is an issue as I have to run some games in a low non-widescreen res due to performance issues.

Please can someone advise me on how I can solve this problem, short of buying a new laptop with a better graphics card.

Thanks in advance for any advice/help :)

    Read this.

Go to laptopvideo2go.com, download one of the latest drivers, use their guide on how to update the driver (referenced in above link).

EDIT: You can try and change the shortcut link and add "+menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +szx 1440 +szy 900". Often works.
