Can anybody here run rthdribl on Vista or their 1520?

Mine just crashes as soon as I start the program.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,

That's strange. I don't have a 1520, but works fine on my Go 7950 GTX in Vista. You should check the rthdribl.ini file (in the folder with the .exe) and check the options. Make sure that it's not trying to force a resolution that isn't supported by your video card drivers. Also, make sure that the model and LightEnvMap are set to the default sphere4.pvi and grace.lem, respectively (if their names somehow got changed, it might be crashing while looking for a light environment/model that doesn't exist).

If all else fails, try running it in compatibility mode for Windows XP SP2, and/or running as administrator. Otherwise, it might just be an issue with the G8x-series cards. That thing was released back in the 9800pro days, and there might be some incompatibility with the latest generation of hardware.

Hmm that's strange, for some reason there was not any ini files in the folder?
I just redownloaded it and this zip file has them inside of it and it works now.

Thanks! Very strange why the ini files were not present?
