I just installed CSS on my laptop. It runs fine, although the recommended settings are waaaay lower than what I can actually use. CSS looks pretty much the same after a certain point anyways, at least IMO. But my problem is with sprays, mainly that they don't show up. I can choose a spray, but when I load in game it doesn't show. If I look at the options it then shows up as the purple messed up texture icon. I can't seem to find a fix. Updated drivers, yada yada. Anyone else have this prob?
p.s. CSS has terrible graphics coding.

That purple checkerboard icon normally means a texture cannot be found or the graphics card did not refresh properly to reload the image. However, the latter has not happened to me with my recent laptop and I'm guessing your laptop isn't that old either. So I think its some sort of incompatability with the texture and what the game supports. Check out a counter strike source forum and see if there are any specifications you need to follow to have a spray.
