    what do you mean by "slow gaming"? like it will be very laggy and stuff?

    And you know this because of extensive pcomparitive performance tests in a controlled environment? Or because you were playing a game on the buggy beta and it acted buggy? :)

    I honestly don't know...and I don't think we WILL know until we get our hands on Vista-optimized drivers installed in at LEAST an RTM install of Vista and do some testing. Which I intend to do, BTW..my next laptop is going to be a Vista tryout initially...start with XP Pro SP2 with a full update, play a couple games and do some benches, then throw Vista on clean and see if there's a difference.

    The way i look at it, wait a couple months after vista is released, Then many people will be able to give you many answers on how the gaming performance is. Honestly until that time you will not get a straight answer. Just enjoy gaming on xp for now and wait until people fully test vista, and not those crappy betas with beta drivers.
