While normal working on my laptop, I usually get this message "The display driver has stopped working, and my screen flickers and then comes back to normal. If I have DreamScene enabled, when this message occurs and my system recovers, Dreamscene stops responding.

I reinstalled drivers but still no help. This usually happens, say, when I open the lip, when I log in, when I stop watching a video and land back to the desktop."

    Please help.

Make sure everything from the old drivers are removed and restart the computer. Then install the new drivers. Also make sure you're downloading the correct drivers from Nvidia's site. eg., 32 or 64 bit etc.

Check Windows Update to see if there are any video updates on there as well.

Do you get the error message randomly? Is there a particular instance when you get it?

Uninstall the driver (right click on computer > manage > Device manager > Display adapter > Nvidia GeForce Go 7700 > uninstall). Then Download some new drivers from say Laptopvideo2go. 165.01 is working well for me, but any other high version will be fine.

I have this same issue sometimes, and my system is totally different than yours (but I'm using the same OS, Vista Ultimate x86). Usually for me it happens while I am gaming. So far I haven't found a fix.

    I tried 165.01 drivers
it was working fine, but my graphics rating had been reduced by 0.1

weird... But that's not really big deal though. As far as I know, the ratings doesn't really affect anything.
