ok i received an asus g1s a1 as a gift and im have a few problems running gears of war and crysis on it. IT seems that i can run gears of war fine on my computer on medium settings and get alot of stutters when theres alot of action or when i quickly turn around or enter a different area....this seemed to be not normal for me so i see if i can run it on my 3 year old desktop...it seems on my desktop im getting very few stutters...

The problem is that i went to the "can you run it " site and checked both the desktop and laptop to see if they can run gears...it shows my laptop is more capable of running gears of war then the desktop...

ALSO my desktop is capable of running crysis on medium and keep a good fps while my laptop can barely run on low settings with a fps of 10 ...

can someone please help me ...i even tried installing my laptop with the latest 169.28 driver...but it still didnt work

The 7800GTX is actually more powerful than the 8600GT in general, as for your stuttering problems the 8600GT has a specific thread in this forum dedicated to solving the infamous stutter problem afflicting the card. Search the forum and see what comes up.
