So I just installed windows vista (clean install) home basic 32 bit.

I went through and installed all my drivers etc, everything was working fine but I did notice...

That my type is not clear and is kind of blurry. I had this problem before I reinstalled vista and it went away after I re-installed the display drivers, but this is not the case now. I have reinstalled the drivers many times and I'm still having a problem with the blurry text.

I've tried taking 1 card out (running sli) and reinstalling with just one card but that did not, gone into safe mode, uninstalled and wiped drivers and reinstalled in safe mode and it did nothing to fix the problem either. I'm running out of ideas, any help would be appreciated.

My vista isn't Authorized yet, still have a few days on it I don't think this would be the issue though.

    Thanks

Have you tried changing the resolution? What do these 'blurry' text look like? Can you post a screenshot?

Wow now I feel stupid, I googled the monitor and read that different settings would create this "halo" effect. Lo and behold my settings were changed, I believe my brother did this ><.

left click on desktop -> personalisation ->colour and windows customosation -> effects -> turn clear type on/off.
The names of menues may be written a bit different in english, as I use non-english vista.
