Hello ! I have a problem... my Note (acer Aspire 5930) started to run slowly, so i decided to reinstall my driver (newest - 178,13) , but when i did it, now, everytime when i start my windows or log on, Vista is finishing to install this driver, maybe it is fast process, but im sick and tired of it,. What is interesting, there are no difference between if i push yes or cancel, driver works well. This its process rundll, can anyone suggest me something ? I tried everything, rolled back my driver, fully uninstalled, compacted my registry... but i dont know, why it is so... till this time, everytime , when i reinstalled these drivers, everything was ok :). Thanks

Have you attempted to run driver cleaner pro in safe mode after unistalling the drivers?

    http://downloads.guru3d.com/download.php?det=745

You can download driver cleaner from there if you dont have it already. Chances are something from that initial reinstall isn't being removed when you uninstall and reinstall the drivers, and I dont see why driver cleaner wouldnt get rid of this problem for you.

    Hope this helps. :)

Use system restore and go back to a point before installing the 178.13. Hopefully you still have a point. I installed 178.13 and lost my ability to game on battery, and no matter what driver version I installed even the original problem free one the problem wouldn't go away and I also think driver sweeper exacerbated the problem by cleaning out some necessary files. So luckily my only hope was system restore and that did the trick.

Now I'm pretty hesitant to try new drivers from laptopvideo2go without first creating a restore point.

Thanks Man !!! It helped... it was the first time, when i used System Restore... hmm... it must be joke.. before this new driver my NBA 08 was really slow on my Note, i knew that it is because of old driver, but NHL 08 ran perfectly, now, everything upside - down... NHL runs slower, but NBA - perfectly :), and another joke... when i adjust in 3D image settings in Nvidia control panel the best quality, games runs better, then on lower or when i switch to "Let 3D aplication decide" .. and i dont know, why when i play for example FIFA 09 , everything goes nice on best settings, but in some moments the game starts to run laggy for some seconds... can anyone explain me this ? =)
