C&C3 (demo) and SupCom. I've asked in other threads but never really got a definitive answer on these specific games.

considering they are new games then they are designed to be vista compatible and the go7400 is a decent graphics card so they will play
-
Not at high settings though mind.

Haven't tried the C&C3 demo yet, but I did actually just try the Supreme Commander demo on my new SZ460. I only played with the default settings, which seemed to be too much for the GeForce 7400; it does run and actually looked very good, but it was a little choppy. I think it will run, but as others have mentioned, looks like you'd need to knock down some of the quality settings.
When I get a chance to play some more I'll let you know.

C&C3 your fine at medium settings @ 30 fps.
Sup Com your going to need to be at low settings with shadows off @ 30 fps.

Supreme commander is more demanding than C&C3. If will be ok to play them. but there will be a major sacrifice of details. It is very demanding on the gpu. But it will be fine on lower settings....

Ok so I'm going to be getting a laptop for college and doing audio projects on, but I also want to game on it every now and then. I was looking at the HP's and I customized one. I just want to have another opinion as to what you all think. If you guys have any other recommendations for a laptop then feel free to let me know...oh and I'm kind of on a budget seeing as I'm in college. Oh and sorry I didnt feel like editing out the stuff not pertaining to the really important specs, i just copied and pasted the things...

There are a thousand threads already about the GO7400.
But don't worry -- it will play moderately well with most games. Of course your settings will needed to be tweaked lower depending on the game.
Don't expect 40-50FPS with Oblivion =D -
Might help if you could say which sort of games you plan on playing with it. The GeForce 7400 can handle some things well, but newer games generally will require you to turn some detail settings down.

Zadillo. You and I posted at the exact same minute with almost the same number of words.
We should get a free prize for this  -
I will probably playing games like Command and Conquer 3, Company of Heroes...and maybe some FPS

Most new and demanding FPS will have to run at low or low-med settings on a go 7400. Your audio projects will have it easy though, given the T7200. Scope out the graphics card forums for more info.

Thanks guys. I figured it would work, but I was wondering what would be sacrificed in order to make it run smoothly. Now I can get these when my laptop arrives

Check out my signature. There are screenshots of Company of Heroes in there....
The amount of Go7400 questions lately is staggering! -

It is; I'm going to start closing threads that ask about it, since there are so many. -
Would a sticky help since it is rather popular?
Vista, Go 7400, and these games, do they work?
