I've heard about this laptop and checked it out on the dell website, came up with these specs for $1018 w/o warrenty:

Other then the 5400rpm drive (They dont offer a 7200), I think it looks ok. Any suggestions on this?

4. memory, get 1gb, save some money and buy 2gigs from newegg for $125
5. hard drive, hmm...it's whatever u feel secure with, get an external if u want more space

Yup, that's a good Gaming laptop. Especially at that price.

about the same as mine that i'm getting this week. i'm pretty excited too seeing how i'm upgrading from 512 ram and an intel intergrated graphics card.
