I really don't know, I checked the site there and as you said it seems to be a new closed beta, don't know how you get invitations. From what I can see, players who had a free account now have access to the new version, but I had an account but I did not get any emails or notifications.....

It might happen that once they tweak the game and add alot of new content, it could be released as a retail game.....I think it was always being released in Korea, where it was made, I suppose we can't expect such an amazing quality free game to remain free forever.... :(

For anyone with a laptop that can't or doesn't run BF2 very well, WarRock is simply brilliant...

    Minimum Requirements WarRock :
    · Processor: WarRock - 700 MHz
    Memory: 256mb
    · Video: GeForce MX2 or later
    · 500 MB of free space

    Minimm Requirements Battlefield 2:
    Processor: 1.7GHZ
    Memory: 512mb
    Video: 128mb FX5600/Radeon 8500 or later
    Few gigs of free space

Look at those for a massive difference in requirements, and WarRock is still a very nice looking game!
