WFTO : War for the Overworld . The game is releasing apparently on April 2nd!

I have looked at reviews and gameplay and it looks very much like the game will be the spiritual successor to the brilliant dungeon keeper series of ages past.

I know we shouldn't hold our breath yet however it looks like they intend to release a full campaign devoted to continuing the story and of course they also have Richard Ridings on to narrate!

After the disappointment that was Planetary Annihilation that boasted being the successor to Total Annihilation that I backed early which ended up with no campaign and rubbish blocky graphics I haven't backed this but have high hopes for it!

    Check it out!

Have been playing it from day one of alfa. For a while it was lost but now it had grown into something good. If you liked DK2 then this is the next best thing. In a way its a clone but has a lot more to offer then DK2 had :)

That is great to know I will wait until April before getting stuck into this.

DK is an all time fav of mine so Iam glad it is a clone.

I miss Dungeon Keepers, they were fun games. Who didn't like pimp slapping imps and other minions around?

Every single element of the field looks like a perfect square in WFTO, i just don't like it at all.
The graphics in the game reminds me the times of warcraft 3. DK2 just had "something" which pulls you IN, wfto don't. And never again early access games, especially those for which you have to pay.

Didn't they release a spiritual successor to Dungeon Keeper 2? Dungeons 2?

Also am very weary of crowd funding of games. Games I've funded and other crowd funded games I see are of very low quality.

Anyway, for this game, looks fun, watching a gameplay video. But will wait until it's been out in full release for a few months and for a sale.

The ONLY Game I pre-purchased in last year is Witcher 3. And I only trust CD Projekt Red and Tripwire to do something awesome. I will pre-purchase Killing Floor 2!
