    A couple questions regarding WUXGA (1920x1200) and WSXGA+ (1680x1050).

    1. People on these forums mentioned that WSXGA+ are LED and WUXGA are not. Does the LED have noticably better visuals compared to the non-LED?

    2. Is WUXGA ACTUALLY noticable in games versus WSXGA+?

    3. I also read that the WUXGA downscales better than the WSXGA+ due to better pixel density. Is the WUXGA downscaling ACTUALLY noticably better than the WSXGA+ downscaling?

Remember, I don't want to hear yes, yes, and yes based on things you have read. I want people that have had real life experience with these two different resolutions.

i have a WUGXA screen and i really love it compared to a lower resolution screen. u have so much more space to multi-task. as far as picture quality, it'll be ALMOST like comparin TV's. most ppl can't even tell the difference between 720p and 1080p. i really recommend u try out a 1920 x 1200 screen before u commit to it.

LED screens are generally flatter and use less power.

the resolution difference in games in pretty big. i currently have my desktop hooked up to a 37" LCD. i play counterstrike on my desktop at a lower resolution and play 1920 x 1200 on my m1530. the picture quality between the 2 are huge, if u are tech-savvy. there aren't to many games that even run at 1920 x 1200 resolution anyways (or at least ppl don't/can't play at those resolutions). the WUGXA will downscale great. i love it cuz i have the option to watch a full range of resolutions instead of hittin a resolution brick wall.
