AMD/ATI recently released the ATI catalyst 10.7a Beta drivers that forces AA in SC2 since Blizzard didn't add it in the options. Enjoy!~

Other than AA, are there any performance optimizations for SC2?

difference is that those are 10.7 not 10.7a.
-
You should read the link you provided the Catalyst 10.7 doesn't have SC2 AA feature, however Catalyst 10.7a BETA does.
-
So has anyone tried them out yet?
-
Is there any way to toggle AA on or off? Because I'm right about at the limit of what my card will do with SC2, so forcing AA on might mean I'd have to drop the details significantly.
-

well it forces AA IF you force it in the CCC. otherwise it's business as usual.
you couldn't turn AA on even if you forced it last catalyst driver -
lol, my bad!

I cant say I see any jaggies id not want the performance hit of AA when it looks perfect already.
I mean these are full size full detail 3d models and your viewing them very far away so any minor flaws like AA jaggies are not seen. -

only time you really see and notice jaggies is in campaign and campaign cutscenes and stuff.

Makes sense I still didnt notice them though, 1920x1200 Ultra settings. -
MagusDraco Biiiiiiirrrrdmaaaaaaan
well yeah. when you get to that level they kinda disappear.
I'm down in 1600x900 random as crap (high-low-medium mix) -
I feel ya on that one and I don't really mind the jaggies too much. I'm running at 1280x720 on med-to-high. As long as the FPS stay above 30 I'm a happy camper.
-
MagusDraco Biiiiiiirrrrdmaaaaaaan
yeah. I have to drop to 1280x720 if I wanna stay above 30 the entire time.
eventually gonna do some weird things to my variables.txt after I finish campaign and see what I can get my fps too. -
Tried them out and had some problems. Torchlight would crash every time I entered the mines and SC2 just locked up on me. Went back to my previous drivers. Too bad, wanted to try out how performance would be with AA. Oh well, I didn't really notice jaggies running at 1080p with everything maxed out.
Also, after installing the 10.7a beta drivers, my card is now recognized as 5800 series and not 5870. -
SC2 needs more CPU horsepower. I'm not sure you can overcome this bottleneck.
