Is there a Star Wars game where you get to fly around and shoot stuff?[ :p]

    Thanks!

    is the pope catholic?

There is an oldy called: Xwing vs Tie Fighter which was pretty cool in its day, you could probably pick it up for next to zilch 2nd hand, and it should run on fairly low end hardware.

There are Jedi Knight games (light saber duels etc, but no flying), and... hang on just go here: http://www.lucasarts.com/products/ and see what floats your boat. [ :)]

Theory can be no more than this: a trap set in the hope that reality will be naive enough to fall into it. (Transparency 110)

Haha! Thanks. X-Wing vs Tie Fighter is pretty much exactly what I was looking for, though it's a little old.

if your really hardcore, try Star Wars Galaxies... it's an MMORPG and probably not the best for a notebook computer, but it's really good representation of Star Wars.

Just something to check out if you like Star Wars.

Yeah, I'm not really up for the Massive Multiplayer games, don't know why, they just don't interest me. I used to run the old X-Wing Games on my old computer, and I thought they were awesome, it made me smile. I'm going to try and find that game again...

I thought the original Tie Fighter and X-Wing games were the best ones out there. Great movie missions and original missions. Of course you need to find copies and if I remember correctly get a stable DOS environment up and about.

    Here's a link to the original X-Wing

I like Freelancer too. That's a good one. An older game that's like it is called Freespace. You're in space, search and drestroy aliens, protect convoys, etc. It's a few years old, so it should run well on most computers today.
