I've actually been meaning to post this for a couple of weeks now, thanks!

GREAT game, it's based off of the Wings of Prey game engine, which was a really fun and well done game/sim, and is now expanded into a huge online world. Graphics are gorgeous and it runs really smoothly. Tons of players online and plenty to do. I've been tinkering with this and World of Warplanes, and honestly War Thunder is quite a bit better. It's obviously a copy in format from World of Tanks, but it does everything so much better than World of Warplanes, at least at this point.

Eventually they are planning to add ground warfare and navy warfare, but at this point it's all aviation with ground attack objectives thrown in amongst the awesome dogfights.

And, for anyone wondering, it's free to play. You can of course purchase upgrades, but by no means is it necessary.

It is in Beta and is being upgraded regularly, but even in it's current state it blew me away.... of course I do have a weak spot for anything airplane related  It also has been Steam Greenlighted so that should bump the popularity as well once it's released on the platform. All accounts will be fully usable however with or without Steam, so any upgrades now will apply if you ever install through Steam.

    Get flying!
