    My friend has has WC3 Frozen throne and reign of chaos, do i need to buy both copies or just frozen throne to play online?

    Frozen Throne is the expansion to Reign of Chaos, so I believe just Reign of Chaos is needed.

    And thanks to Dota Blizzard can still get away with charging an egregious $40 for a 5 year old game (well technically one 5 year old game and one 4 year old game). Its a pretty amazing feat when you think about it.
