Ok, on my dv5t, i have a WXSGA+ screen, but frozen throne doesn't run that high. I'm not exactly sure the size, but basically, since i have a higher resolution, whenever i alt tab from frozen throne to my desktop, every window is out of place, for example. normally AIM is "stuck" on the right side of the screen, but when i tab out from warcraft, AIM is somewhat close to the middle. Is there anyway to stop this? Or will i have to manually drag my windows to their right positions every time?

    Windows + R > regedit > HKEY_Current_User > Software > Blizzard Entertainment > Warcraft III > Video

Change the values on the resheight to 1050 and reswidth to 1680 for WSXGA+. Don't forget to check Decimals instead of Hexadecimals at this part too!

Oh sorry, forgot to mention, this is a registry hack to make War3 run at any resolution.

Wow thanks! it fixed it, and it made the game look better too. Before I ran at the highest setting possible in WC3 (which i can't recall atm) and everything seem widescreened (too stretched) and hard to see, now it's looking great. It made my video resolution go to the lowest in the video options in warcraft though, should i be worried? Also is there any dangers to this hack? And what was the difference between the decimals and hexadecimals?

Nothing to worry about. It's simply a registry edit which tells the game to scale according to whatever resolution you gave it. Decimals and hexadecimals are simply a different way that the computer expresses numbers. Sort of like comparing our current decimal system with the Roman Numeral System. :)

Would this happen to cause any lag? Probably not but, I want to play it on my native 1920x1200 resolution. Yet, I don't want to experience any sort of delay.

I've been forcing it to scale at 1440x900 for several months now. Can't seem to notice lag of any sort.
