I'm running an ASUS G1s and the laptop should have no problem playing the game.

But while I'm playing it it runs at 60 fps, but every couple of seconds it would stutter, drop to 45-47, then go back up to 60.

I've eliminated overheating, because my laptop runs at around 80-85 Celsius while running the game.

    Any ideas?

Isn't that still pretty hot? My friend has an Asus G1s and he started having problems while playing Hitman: Blood Money with slowdown.. I cleaned out his vent for him and it started running smoother right away. Even if it's not actually overheating, it's always a good thing to do every once and a while.

Do you have anything running in the background that could potentially affect performance? Does this occur when you play online and offline? Have you tried defragging your hard drive? How much RAM do you have and how much is being used while you play? How much CPU is being used also?

I dunno, if you go through all these things and everything seems normal, try reinstalling the game.

The dust in my laptop is probably the problem.
