    Hello,

I need a new RTS game and i heard that warhammer 40k was pretty good. Warcraft 3 kinda bored me now so I need something new. Something I can play online too.

Right now i play on cs :s lol and well you know it's boring to play cs:s all day long.

    Thanks a lot :)

Dawn of War, is in my opinion, the most innovative RTS thats been released in a long while. Each of the 4 armies (5 armies after the expansion) feel completly unique. The squad based system is a very nice feature that a lot of companies have copied. But DoW still has the most unique one. The scale of the battles is huge too. Graphics are awesome. A deffinate must have for RTS players.

Excellent game. Very easy to get into, and nice visuals despite relatively low hardware demands.

I love the fact that the game takes the focus away from the resource gathering and puts it squarely on holding territory, the way a real time strategy should be. I can't wait for the new Dark Crusade expansion, the Tau have always been my favourite faction, and they're looking pretty sweet!

Indeed. DoW is very entertaining when you have nothing to do but kill time playing with you buddy online or over Lan... unique factions and intense game engine... a MUST play!! :)

Real-Time Strategy. Basically a game where you have a birds-eye view of the battlefield and command units.

Dawn of War also has an interesting storyline.

Also Company of Heroes which just came out is supposed to be VERY good! And highly recommended.

    Warcraft 3 eh? That's a bit old :p Heehee.

I Love my RTS. COMMAND AND CONQUER FOREVER!!! (Only like the Red Alert and Tiberium universes. Generals can burn for all I care)

Bah, it takes place in an interesting universe, but the singleplayer campaign, story, voice acting and cutscenes are all mediocre at best.

Still, it is *the* best multiplayer RTS, so I guess that doesn't matter... :)

I said interesting. Not THE BEST STORYLINE I"VE EVER WITNESSED IN ALL THE TIMES I'VE BEEN RTSing

But you're right the value of RTS is online not the story. :)

Company of Heroes is a great game. It is also produced by the same company. If you like Dawn of War, you will probably like it too.
