Which of these two do you prefer? When I speak of Warhammer 40k, I include all expansions (Winter Assault, Dark Crusade, Soulstorm) and same with Battle for Middle Earth (BFME, BFME 2, Rise of Witch King).

I don't like the warhammer game. It is not that intuitive and it isn't the kind of game where you can jump online immediatly and play.

BFME2 is really really simple in its design and has lots of different distinct classes that makes it a good game.

Warhammer: Dark Crusade is great cus it has like 6 races and is awesome for LAN games and it makes for some great battles.

Ive never played Middle Earth but it sounds good I may have to get it :)

    I really like both. I couldn't vote.

DOW seems to run better though. BFME can be somewhat messed up.

I had fun with both games although I played both singleplayer (coz at that time I couldn't get online) most of the time. BFME's campaigns were pretty nice & fun but I couldn't remember much of the DoW one... I did try LAN for DoW and yes it is very fun with friends. Ah the good old times... :) Now I'm just waiting for DoW 2 to come. ;)

I only played the first DoW so I guess I should vote BFME since I played all of those and had fun but I think DoW's multiplayer is better.

BFME2 is not as good as DOW DC, go with DC you will be happier.

if you like warhammer universe then go with DOW and if you like LOTR universe then go with BFME. the BFME games are highly story driven whereas DOW has little bit more freedom. they both require you to go out and expand so they're similar is that respect. i personally like BFME since i'm a lotr fan.

It's a tough call, however I voted BFME. I've played both 1 and 2 and love them both. The story is great (I'm a LOTR fan) and gameplay is fairly unique.

I recently bought BFME2 and DOW with all the expansions and i can honestly say... They both suck equally hard! Although i did play further into BFME2, mainly because of the soundtrack :D

I only have them maybe a week so i might change my mind yet:\
