Warhammer 40000: Space Marine | Action | PC Games
Amazing price for a fun game.
-
Totally recommend this game.
Might be a little short SP wise but good gameplay and nice graphics keeps the game running strong.
Its also Steamworks enabled too.
Do keep in mind that the multiplayer community is not as strong as other MP games out there but i dident buy it for that. -
I hoped for steam and amazon to bring space marine to these prices! I think I'll just start search the other retailers as well! just bought mine and btw the game is steamworks!
-
Got this game for $1 on the OnLive promotion a few months back. Pretty decent game.
-
Thanks, bought and downloading now. Damn, I always say I won't buy. I'll play the game for a couple hours and get back to it a year or two later when it costs half that. Oh well.
-
I've bought 6+ games last month and I'm not even 5% done on any of them.
I don't even think I'll get pass the 5% mark on any game anytime soon. LOL
Laziness at its best. -
lol you're not alone here!
-
This game was a major sleeper. I thought it was going to suck and it was a total blast. Making gruesome melee kills to health up never gets old. I tried to tell folks but nobody listened!
-
one of the best deals out there. i bought this game at retail prices and never regretted it.
-
Speaking of sleeper, Bulletstorm is a sleeper in my eyes too. It's great fun.
-
wow, this is a great deal!!! just started playing it and got addicted already.
-
The thing about this game is how smoothly it plays. And it is well optimized IMO. Plays silky smooth. Got it on launch at a key site for $25. No regrets.
-
Look what you guys made me done
I went in and bought it.
I have a feeling I'm going to complete this game unlike the other ones I've bought awhile ago. -

But once your done like most game, no real replay value. I bought Mafia II ($10) , I'm not buying another game with such crappy replay value.
-
I thought space marine had a little more replay value than your typical action game.
Plus the mp was fun.

But if you spend <$10 who cares if there's no replay value? I mean really. I've bought games for $50-$60 that I put a few hours into that were total garbage and never touched again.
-
The game looked stupid to me.....i might give it a try now
-
Its about as stupid as Bullet Storm which is also a blast to play. The yard stick is really whether you enjoy stuff like the PainKiller series. There is no depth, just an addictive game mechanic and a riot of gore ridden violence. I personally love it. If you don't like that kind of thing these games are indeed 'stupid'.
-
I normally don't like these kinds of games but am having fun. They can get to be a grind after a while, but I'm sure I'll get my $10 worth from both Bulletstorm and Space Marine.
-
Is the deal still live? Link is showing regular price.
-
Yep. The discount was only available for a limited time unfortunately.

Got to play some today, needed a game to play where I could just play and not commit.
Pretty quality for this price, good voice acting, good graphics, runs good on my computer, and its pretty mindless killing action that is great for filling in some free time with something to do.
I would love to put together a youtube collab of all my execution kills
but this series I am just playing not recording.
If I could have one wish, it would be for a Katana or maybe a Cloud Strife buster sword type deal (more fitting for a giant space marine, but katanas are awesome)
I think I need to be more liberal with using my better weapons and grenades, I find myself getting multiple ammo & grenade stashes with no ammo/grenades gone other than the 2nd gun you get.
