Warhammer: End Times - Vermintide

Vermintide is a melee-oriented coop set in the world of Warhammer. 4 players fight against Skavens.
It´s similar to Left4Dead, in a good way. The devs have said it has been a large inspiration. Vermintide has more focus on melee, character classes and loot. I´ve only played two rounds so far and I love it, can´t wait to play the full game!

The information regarding the betas is communicated poorly. Their definition of "open beta" is no NDA, but you still need a key. Each beta wave lasts 24-28 hours and are very frequent. Multiple key giveaways on third-party sites give access to different beta tests, those keys have to be redeemed on site to get an email with the proper key. Once you´re in, you stay in. Pre-ordering on Steam gives access to beta starting around October 16. Sometimes they open the servers briefly for a streamer which means you can sneak in and then you´re in untill you close the game. Next beta is October 5-7 (no keys available that I know of). All of this means it´s a very confusing beta but hey, we get to play early.
