Im not sure if this has been asked but i cant find it. i asked on HP forums where my laptop is from but got not responses.
Anyway I have played several games on my laptop ( WoW, STO, and others) with no issues. I removed those and have been playing champions online and just tried Dragon Age: Origins. Problem is when I am playing my screen goes black, no sound no nothing and I have to restart the laptop. On Dragon Age I havent made it past the character Create screen. Several friends say I need to update my graphics card, but I cant figure how to do that. My laptop info is here if that helps.
HP G61 429WM Notebook PC and I have no idea what kind of graphics card is in here or how to find it, but it is the one that came with it when i bought it last February 2010
Can anyone help with this issue plz?

Your machine comes with low end GPU (graphics card), Radeon 4200 which is not a whole lot better than integrated graphics. I wouldn't expect it to run many newer games.
Specs are here:

You cannot update the video card of a laptop, especially those under $1000 and only a few percent of laptops have an upgradeable GPU option that most users seek specifically (like mine). -

Okay well then thank you both for answering the question.
Was told it was a graphics card issue
