I think the game is very creative for an open world game. It would be fun to hack various public systems to goof off. Plus, the graphics aren't shabby, either.

Looks damn sweet, but hope it really is OPEN world as some of the trailers can be misleading.

If it has the openness and the possibilities for committing craziness like say GTA (not saying the game should be like GTA, but at least as open and the ability to approach missions in multiple ways) it will be setting a new standard really.

I completely agree with niharjhat on this - if it really is a sandbox game, I'm sold, take my money! (there is a PC version, right?)

My friend showed this to me last night and I was instantly WOW'd.

He described it as if GTA and Max Payne had a baby and it grew up into a hacker.

The gameplay seemed more like a movie and I think it's a really cool concept that you can manipulate anything and everything electronic around you to accomplish things.

I liked the bits where as you walk past people their relevant stats and "violence" percentage popped up.

^^ Yeah. In that gameplay trailer, when he was escaping the art show, he ran past a person and her description was "declined loan applicant." I thought that was pretty funny.

Yeah, in the setup to the gameplay, they talked about how all the intimate details of your life are online and accessible. When i saw the info on random people popping I realized they'd really gone for broke on the concept. This one could really have revolutionary gameplay on a lot of levels. I Need to have a monster desktop setup by the time this comes out, but first I need to get a disposable income :(

When I saw that tech demo I remembered back to 2005 when Squenix did the same thing with their FFVII tech demo. Seven years later, none of that tech has even come close to fruition, so I'm not getting my hopes up.

As for Watch Dogs, this looks incredible. The gameplay looks interesting and fun, and the environments ooze of detail. I like how alive everything feels, and hopefully this remains so in the final release. I'd also be excited for this to offer some good sandbox-style gameplay outside of the story to provide some longevity.

This and The Last of Us are so far the most interesting things coming out of E3.

You think graphically Enix failed to meet the level of expectation set by FF7 tech demo in FF13 and FF13-2? Have you seen the demo recently?

Final Fantasy 7 [PS3] technical demo PlayStation 3 - YouTube

FF13 and 13-2's visually clearly surpass this tech demo. I have no doubts that FF15 will be able to match this next gen tech demo, if not surpass it as well.

I'm not discounting that FF13 is indeed an attractive looking game, its gameplay just doesn't look as good as that tech demo.

There is no aliasing or blocky geometry whatsoever in the tech demo, the frame rate is beyond fluid and smooth, the skin textures, muscle tones, reflections, particles, and lighting are all more realistic looking. The physics being displayed in Aeris' dress as she walks, and in both her and Cloud's hair are beyond what we've seen in any games to date.

Some of the textures in the tech demo could look a little better, specifically the metal along the side of the train engine, but beyond that it still looks better overall and more akin to what we'd see in prerendered cinematic scenes rather than gameplay on the consoles.

Some gameplay clips were posted today - I'm throwing money at the screen, but nothing is happening. Have they announced the release date yet?

2013 only. No exact date. The sooner the better though.

Looks immense. I love when games are truely interactive like this tries to accomplish. Half-Life 2 accomplished so much interactivity way back when, I do wonder why so few games lack meaningless interaction. I think it's fun.
