    With a few minutes to start of course uplay won't let me log in. Pretty sure they didn't think this through, asking everyone to log in at the same time for a free game...

    Yes, they handled the situation well.

    In the mean time Watch Dogs 2 popped up in my uplay games list. All good. I may even give it a try :)

    I was going to give it a shot since I never played the first Watch Dogs.. kind of forgot about it. I did redeem it pretty much straight away on uplay though.

    Yup. Got the confirmation. I read elsewhere that Ubi's download service was having issues - even purchased software apparently. Supposedly they'll have it fixed before weeks end.
    Not that I care one way or the other, I just like to complain ;).

    actually, is the game even supposed to be any good? I've been seriously out of the loop when it come to gaming

    No idea. I've known about it but it somehow always ended up on the back burner. Now with Death Stranding out and Horizon Zero Dawn coming, it's not looking good for Watch Dogs :)
