I have a desktop with specs: Intel C2D E6850, Nvidia Geforce 8800GTX, 700 Watt PSU, 320GB HDD, 2GB RAM. I am running Windows Vista Premium 32 bit.

    Problems:
The mouse is off-center whenever I am in a menu area, or trying to upgrade my gun. The cursor is about an inch down and to the left of where it needs to be. If I put the cursor right on a button and click, nothing happens because the "real" clicking is happening to the up and right. Hopefully this make sense. It is really annoying and makes the game hard to navigate.

Also, a more serious problem happens when I die and am waiting to respawn. If I try to hit the respawn button the game freezes up and I have to restart the whole game from the desktop. This also happens when I complete a mission and it is saving and trying to load the next mission.

The game also lags up a bit when I am in gameplay.

I am really concerned. My computer is definetly good enough to play the game.

Could be a driver problem but I'm not sure. Could someone give me the link to the best driver for Crysis with Vista 32bit Nvidia 8800GTX?

Please help me fix these problems.
Thanks for the help in advance.

this might not solve the problem... but

It sounds like something that used to happen to me on some other FPS game.

I used to have a widescreen display and the game was only for normal resolutions on non-widescreen displays (e.g. 1024*786). One time i set the resolution higher than my monitors actual viewable resolution by accident and it was on WINDOWED gaming mode instead of full screen. The mouse icon was therefore off target from where the buttons actually where.

May sound stupid, but are you in full screen mode and have the correct screen resolution? e.g. for widescreen its usually something like 16:10 aspect ratio or something.

I've moved around and tried all of the screen resolutions. Still is happening.

And the freezes and crashes still happen.

Any word on that Vista 32bit driver for 8800gtx?

Should I try to uninstall reinstall direct x version? How would I do this.

    Thanks
