When i first start up my comp and play gears of war its running around 35 fps. If i restart my comp and then load GoW it will run a 60 fps.

Any idea why its doing this? I dont want to have to restart everytime i want to play a game.

I have the same results sometimes.

I belive it may have something to do with resetting the graphics memory, but im not sure.

I wonder if the gpu drivers have anything to do with this. I cant remember the exact number, but im using 180.12 (not the 180.42)
