    I decided to install Zombie Panic Source on one of my old computers since I currently don't have access to my laptop.

    While playing 5 minutes into the game, half my screen suddenly flickers with colorful gradiants. Sometimes it covers half my screen, and other times its just random long triangle gradiants. And when zombies or humans are shot, boxes fly out (lol) instead of blood graphics.

    Stats of the old computer:
    XP SP3, P4 2.4GHz, 1.0GB RAM, NVIDIA GeForce4 MX 440

    I can play CSS perfectly fine at medium and low settings, so why is it doing that? I also want to note that I recently cleaned and added new thermal paste to the graphics card.

    well the ZPS is now at 1.4 with the orange box engine. Your GPU the mx440 is not really compatible with the orange box engine. CSS is still running the older HL2 havok engine. I would check your GFX drivers and see if you can get any up to date ones, at least different ones from the ones you currently have. also, the mx440, is kinda of a low end card, so don;t expect much in terms of performance with the orange box engine. SP3 does not help either..lol. there has been so many issues with peoples computers with SP3 if you did not install it with a fresh install. From experience I know.

    Cheers.

    @somhavoc

    Well, I downloaded the most recent compatible driver (forceware 93.71) for my GPU that the NVIDIA site recommended.

    Are there other sites like driverheaven that supports modded drivers for older cards such as mine?
