What Are Some Good Free2Play MMORPGs?

Been playing WoW for years now and it's fun factor is gone. So what I'm asking are there any good Free2Play MMORPGs out there? I'd like it to look decent, have a good amount of players, and have a good amount of dungeons and raids.

So far I'm checking out Perfect World, Runes of Magic, and Silkroad Online.

Any other suggestions or if you have an opinion on the games I listed above please share it.

 

Have a look at GuildWars mate, you pay for the game like any other but there is no subscription fee
I dont know that many mmos but I can recommend this one

 

Depends on your play style. If you're a grindhappy person go for flyff (or any other pure korean mmo). If you like quests go try out Jade Dynasty. If you want some pretty graphics try out perfect world.

If you want some blood and gore and a darker style game play Requiem Bloodmayre.

For a really pvp heavy game play cabal online.

If you really want grind+click happy+pure pvp try rappelz.

 

The no subscription fee is very tempting. I will look into it!

 

The first MMORPG I ever played was World of Warcraft so my expectations are quite high on any MMORPG I play, which makes a lot of the F2P automatic crap which is a shame.

The only 2 out of your list that I've tried is Cabal Online (way too PvP oriented I like me some PvE) and Rappelz which I'm currently hooked on.

Ragnarok Online, if you don't mind the avatar-looking characters. It was my first MMORPG ever and still play it time to time in random private servers (though theres even a free offical server now).

Atlantica Online is something you should definetly check out, it's honestly a really good and intresting MMORPG, the battles are turn based and community is great for a free game.

 

Wait... you just said cabal was too pvp oriented yet rappelz isn't?

.... I don't know what to say. Rappelz is pure pvp where as cabal has from what i've seen some slight nonpvpness to it.

Neosteam's pretty good an dsince you said you're playing with pnc in rappelz you won't mind the bad wasd they have. So pnc would be good.

And sorry to break this to you but WoW's not that great for a p2p game. :/

Yeah sure they do have some nice classes and skill trees. Some decent pvp. But beyon dthat it's kinda just a standard mmo. Also it's p2p which is a major downer for me. The graphics they have for the textures, and world enviroments is very low. So the game's graphics are meh at best. With the latest xpac is just a pathetic attempt to milk the WoW franchise for all it's worth.

Perfect World where as more of a grinding based game not as bad as flyff but still pretty damn high. Other than that... no other game is as quest heavy as wow as i've seen except maybe neosteam/jade dynasty.

 

Rappelz has pure pvp but it isn't forced, in Cabal Online you are basically ganked from level 1.

I'm currently hooked on Rappelz and Runes of Magic for my free 2 play mmo fix.

 

Runes of Magic is basically f2p WoW. I was hooked on it for a bit.

A bunch of my friends were hooked on to Atlantica Online for a while, but I just couldn't get into it.

IMO though, there really arent any good f2p MMO's out as of right now.

 

Good + Free2Play does not compute.


Well....considering Dungeons & Dragons Online (DDO) recently went to F2P you may want to give that a try.

 

I thought Dungeon Runners was fun. I'm not really big on MMOs, but I liked that one well enough.

 

Conquer Online use to be great, best pvp ever- but now its ruined with stupid additions...every other free pretty much sucks compared to wow to be honest(except Guild wars) You just cant get the quality you do out of that, and the ones that do have it have options to buy extras off the site so youll get these people with God like chars because they kill $10,000 a month on the game(hence why conquer was ruined)

True, but F2P Beta is currently underway.

 

Not everyone has access to the F2P Beta since it's not an open Beta. So, like I said, DDO is not free to play until the first week of September, head start participants notwithstanding.

 

Just got back to Silkroad Online. Honestly, its the best FREE one out there, but since its too crowded it hard to get in. The good thing it has an AutoLogin That made me go back to this game...!

 

Hm... Going to test Risk Your Life 2... It looked awesome o.o
