The newer need for speed games are nice if you want that type of game. But for a realistic view try out project gotham racing. Or better yet go on amazon or something and put in racing games and you will get a nice selection with reviews and all. [IMG]

Not an easy task. The "best" racing games to me---GTR 2, GT Legends, Live for Speed, rFactor, Richard Burns Rally, GTR: Evolution, etc, etc are really made for full wheel setups.

I've no idea what games can be played/configured for a one-button only, single stick controller.....

    Maybe some console racer with a set-up for auto-brake, auto-accel, etc ?

i really like GRiD but only when using the keyboard and mouse, the controller support was so bad that it made it near impossible for me to complete a single race, but with the keyboard and mouse i got quite far, with my own racing team and every thing but i have to start again as i lost the save :(

one thing i would like to mention, Keyboard + racing = MAJOR FAIL!!

besides that, the best to me are forza 2, burnout paradise, and DiRT.

try BURNOUT PARADISE: Ultimate Box, real fun

i have to disagree with that GRiD was ALOT better when using the keyboard and mouse whehn compared to using a controller - though i do play Burnout with a controller

you should give GRiD ago and then see how you think about games with controllers - some may have liked it, i simply struggled with it, the poor steering the brakes taking too long to take effect very annoying, but none of that crap with the keyboard and mouse though :)

no i dont think i have ever of Forza being on PC

GRID and GTR2 in my opinion. If you like reality. Wheel should come handy.

I don't know why ppl keep saying "Grid with a controller is hard/impossible"... I finished the game with a Logitech Dual Action controller with no problems at all.. Better handling than with the keyboard, and by ALOT...

Burnout Paradise is sooo much fun. You could easily just enjoy it with one button and directionals. Not having the e-brake might be a little tough, but still lots of fun.

I have to say Forza 2 and GT5 prologue were pretty Darn good.

Both those games i had to sit down and unlock everything i really loved them both. You have to check those out on the consoles.

For PC d recommend GRID for sure it looks really tight especially maxed out. Even Dirt is pretty sweet.

I use a wired 360 controller to play GRID as well. No problems. Maybe something's wrong with your controller.

Most Definitely do that! Grid is sweet.

xxERIKxx, I think its great that all these games (especially racing) are supporting 360 controllers it gives the gamers more choice.

Does anyone know do games like these have compatibility with a PS3 controller? I always wondered that.....

ArmageddonAsh have you played other racing games with controller? The problem is only with Grid? Maybe you just dont like racing with controller, or find it too difficult...
