    is the mobile Ati 3850 MXM 2.1 or 3.0. i might come across a 3850 free from someone and he told me its MXM 2.1. so i want to put it into my laptop since its out of warranty and i am bored too. i cant seem to find any info on the type of MXM it is. the Ati 3850 is coming from a burnt out MSI laptop.

    The 3850 is older than mxm 3.0 I believe. So it must be MXM2.1.

    If you know the MSI notebook model it would help.

    it came from a MSI GT735, he dropped the laptop so the screen wont turn on now but everything does just fine. he parted out what he could. but the 3850 might be my.

    It will not fit in a Sager 2090. It will not work in a Sager 2090.
