What are the best controls for gaming

I use a Belkin N52te and a Razer Deathadder with an Apple mini bluetooth keyboard in the middle
I tried an 360 controller but it felt sluggish compared to this combo.

 

i use mouse and keyboard.

g11 and a ms sidewinder.

 

I'd have to say mouse and keyboard.

I have (running a on a desktop) a DeathAdder and an old, mechanical (?) natural split keyboard.

After playing way too much counterstrike over a span of about three years, after I tried out Halo and Halo 2, I just couldn't ever get used to having to use an analog stick to move my crosshair around; mouse was a lot easier because it was responsive and I could actually move it.

 

Yeah, some guys think the 360 controller rules but I don't get it, they feel so sluggish and a mouse is much more accurate.

 

Mouse and keyboard are so much better than controller IMO. I know people who are pretty good with a controller, but I can't see how you could get better than someone who is using a mouse + keyboard.

Do they have servers now where people can play using both PC's and a console? If they do, would be interesting to see who usually comes out on top. I'd go with people using mouse + keyboard. Not because they have more skill, but simply due to it being easier to use/be good with.

 

Oh and I use a logitech G7 mouse, and the keyboard on my laptop. Should probably get an external keyboard, but I really like the one on my machine.

 

Shadowrun plays with PC and 360 on the same server. Guess which one destroys the other...

Mouse+Keyboard=Perfection.

 

HOTAS, Logitech Wheel, Keyboard+mouse, .....depends on what type of "gaming" I'm doing.

 

Mouse and keyboard for most, gamepad for racing, and joystick for flying.

Try this. Get a Wacom Tablet and use that as your mouse. Or use one of the Guitars from Guitar Hero on a 360 playing Halo 3. You haven't experienced life until you've shot a noob to death with a guitar.

Can you use mousepad to control the cursor? I think you are looking for the touchpad.

 

If the action gets out of hand I breakout my secret weapons, USB connected Bushmaster AR-15 and Glock 23 40SW!!!

If that doesn't work I have my backup 454 Casull Ruger Alaskan strapped to my ankle, USB connected of course.

 

USB connected Railgun.. beat that (unless u have a usb connected death star)

logitech g15 mk 2 , a razer copperhead and a razer exact man = superb !!

and a 360 pad for pro evo soccer 2008 and non mouse games !

 

Razer DeathAdder + Razer Mantis = Pwned!

 

I use a several year old Dell ps2 keyboard and a logitech travel optical mouse with low dpi, still doesn't stop me being a good player.....it's so overrated, people spending 100 euro on a mouse*

*Unless you really are pro, but let's face it, 99% of people aren't.

 

The Logitech MX518 is all you need. Hell, I don't even need the keyboard!

 

There is no bragging rights with friends with mouse and keyboard.

It is generally easier to aim and shoot.

But in 4 player bragging rights duke outs with your buds...

There is nothing like holding a controller in your hand.

And plus... Halo 3 works so much better with a controller...

and 4 person ffa COD4? Brilliant with the pad.

But ill take a mouse and keyboard for Counterstike any day.
