    What are the chances I can run Starcraft II and Crysis on medium?

    256mb Nvidia 8600M GT (ddr2)
    2 GB Ram
    7200rpm HD
    1680x1050 15.4" (but i can lower the resolution)

    Pretty good. Not at 1680x1050 but 1280x800 for sure.

    Should be fine on medium, though on Starcraft, we won't know yet. Blizzard tends to make very scalable games, so the requirements shouldn't be very high.

    Yeah, that's what i'm hoping. Running Starcraft II is more important, but Crysis would be nice, if on medium.

    Blizzards deal is online gaming. So its in their best interest to develop games that can be played on machines with wildly varying performance specs.

    what about a fx1600m can that run both games on medium?

    YOu can run it on medium for sure, maybe not on those resolutions though. Maybe on a 1024x768?

    I think you can get away with a 1440.900 screen, I plan on running crysis ok and starcraft 2. Just need to turn off some eye candy like shadows etc.

    I would say u could run sc2 at high and crysis on medium all without aa and af.

    You can definitely run SC2 on almost highest if not highest. You can probably run Crysis on medium.
