As long as you are under waranty and don't have the card overclocked, you can claim for a change of notebook since it cannot play games without crashing eventually.

More information on how long does it takes to crash (and which games you are refering to) and what happens afterwards (can you see something or simply the screen freexes, etc.) could help to understand your situation.

Is the laptop on a hard surface when it overheats? Or are you holding the laptop on you lap? I have the same video card and I have not had any heat issues (I also keep four empty plastic cd cases under the laptop to help elevate the laptop off the surface to improve air flow). You can buy mini lap desks that have built in fans to also help provide better air flow so the laptop can properly vent hot air, although I find a solid surface desk meets my needs.

on normal operation. everest reports the temperature of my GPU as 65-70 and on gaming as 75-90. i thought till i saw ur thread that this was normal. however i havent experianced any crashes. so what should be the ideal value ranges for these temperatures ??

    hi and thank u all...
the problem is when I play around 15 or 30 min and some time when I watch movie the notebook crash the screen like shut down (black) and the sound lag or crash.

And I put the laptop on the hard surface and I put fan under the laptop and I make space under the laptop and the problem stile.

If the temperatures of my GPU is normal then why this problem??
And I think the temperatures of my GPU is normal.
So, for this I wanna to take the notebook to the manufacturers.

    Do u agree with me!!!!

I do agree with you. Like I said, if you are not overclocking, use the warranty as soon as possible and get it fixed or replaced. If you are overclocking go back to the stock clocks and see if the problem happens again.

Also, since you said it happens after 30 minutes or so, I believe is a heating issue: the temperature reaches a critical point after 30 minutes of use and then the safety system disables the card (or something like that, you got the point, right?).

I hope this can help you.

Are you talking about the notebook in your signature? Yours is a 17" with a 8600m GS while he has a 15" with 8600m GT that is a big difference.
