    What ever happened to the asus XG station external graphics

    I remember a while, asus unveiled an external graphics solution for notebooks called the xg station. You needed an external monitor, but even so, it sounds like something that alot of people would buy. Anyone know what happened to it?

    i think its still in development, but it needed its own port to work. it wasnt a plug n play thing that would work with current laptops so until asus release a laptop with the required port i doubt its going to show.

    other alternatives are the ViDock 2 and the home made (and much cheaper) version of it, which has a mighty sized thread somewhere on this forum.
