    Battlefield 2142 is great!
    Also
Counter-strike: source, It's pretty much grown into a full on sport!

Rainbow Six Vegas, It's an amazing tactical FPS, and extremely fun to play in Co-Op if you have 4 people to play it with!

Bioshock is great, but I'm really disliking the way you have to register it.

Call of Juarez, it's a great wild western style fps game with a nice mix of stealth and action.

If you like racing, get DiRT, it's the best racer I've played so far.

This list could go on forever....

Yeh it should. You got a powerful desktop rig there. I'd guess all games medium to high. If it's a bit slow, I'd recommend upgrading to 3GB of RAM, but that's up to you. Happy gaming!

FEAR. You can either buy it and get the single player campaign, or just download FEAR Combat for free, which is the multiplayer component of FEAR.
