So i just got my new notebook, and well... I am looking for a game to play. My old machine was a Dell 8100 1.5ghz 512mb ram, so all of the games I currently own are very old.

My new computer is a Dell e1707 duo 2.0ghz with 2gb of ram and the nvidia go 7900gs. What games should I run out to the store and buy for the weekend?

(I already picked up need for speed: most wanted, and I have already beat fear on a friends machine. so besides those 2)

Any particular genres you like? Or do you just want us to recommend some good PC games no matter what type?

Any type would be good. RTS is my favorite genre (cant wait for Supreme Commander to come out).

Mainly I am looking for RTS, and FPS games, though a good simulation game never hurts.

Final Fantasy XI is also a choice if you do take the MMORPG route, it takes more time and effort than World of Warcraft, thus making it more difficult, so it's not meant for the casual player, though.

I cant belive any one hasnt mentioned The Eldar Scrolls IV: OBLIVION, that game rocks.
It is definatly one of the Must haves of the year.

    Also: Guild Wars
    Guld Wars Factions
    World of Warcraft
    HL2 and episode one
Battlefield 2 is another must have
    new Civ game
the new heros of might and magic looks cool as well

theres soo many and soo little time, sometimes its not fair.

My friend plays World of War Craft. I guess that is pretty good. I personaly am interested in that old"ish" new star wars imperial fleet game. I usually like the simple stuff like "architecture" games.
