    If I had to pick ONE It would be warcraft 3. It has a great one player game, but what makes it take the cake is the online mode, where there are so many different kinds of custome games that its like having a thousand games in one.

    (1) Online Action - gave up on these as they ate my life! I used to play Eve Online.. I was usually found in 0.0 space chaining Tyrants in my Apoc or doing complexes in my Raven. (and getting blown up doing pvp I was rubbish at that lol)
    (2) RTS - never got into those
    (3) FPS - Bioshock (just got hooked on it last night)
    (4) RPG - System Shock 2 (Icewind Dale if you want an AD&D style one!)
    (5) Turn Based Strategy - I'm not a fan of these
    (6) Simulation - not really a sim as such but Colin McRae DiRT
